RINA Group is looking for Clean Development Mechanism Expert to carry out validation and verification of CDM projects.
The candidate will be employed as a member of the validation/verification team for CDM activities. The candidate will be trained to become familiar with our procedures for CDM validation/verification functions and will have access to up-to-date set of documented procedures giving relevant instructions and information about the CDM activities.
CANDIDATE REQUISITES
The candidate must have competency, acquired through work experience, training, consultancy or validation/verification activities, in the following fields:
* The Kyoto Protocol and CDM project cycle
* Technical and operational aspects of CDM projects in the sectoral scopes adopted by UNFCCC
* Environmental issues
Personal Skills and characteristics:
* Advanced knowledge and use of the PC and Office programmes, Internet and e-mail
* Good knowledge of both written and spoken English
* Strong communication and relation skills, high motivation to the role, precision and flexibility, committment and reliability, dynamism, quick-learning, sense of responsibility.
