MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATION - NEW RULES
The new RINA Rules applicable to the certification of Management Systems are now available on the RINA web site in the “news” section.
These Rules include the
"General Rules for the Certification of Management Systems"
which contain common requirements for the certification of all management systems, as well as “Specific Rules for the certification” of:
- Quality Management Systems
- Environmental Management Systems
- Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
- Social Accountability Management Systems
- Information Security Management Systems
- Information Technology Management Systems
- Quality Management Systems according to the railway standard IRIS
which include additional requirements for each specific certification scheme.
These Rules will enter into force on 1st July 2010 and will replace the actual Rules in force for the above-mentioned schemes.
Certified organisations are kindly requested to take note of the above.
